Gothic & Epic Guitar Orchestrations

Heavily influenced by composers Sergei Rachmaninoff and Antonio Vivaldi, and deeply scarred by the writings of H. P. Lovecraft, I created DarkMelodies.com to showcase the instrumental music forms that resonate in my mind. Minor tonalities, dissonance, and odd-time signatures are characteristic elements of each music form and are present in varying degrees depending on the musical style they are being molded into, whether it’s classical, jazz, or metal. The common unifying thematic element, though, is musical intensity through guitar improvisation and performance modeled after the works of Nicolo Paganini and Django Reinhardt.
