Background
Heavily influenced by composers Sergei Rachmaninoff and Antonio Vivaldi, and deeply scarred by the writings of H. P. Lovecraft, I have endeavored to create a music form capable of expressing the darker melodies that resonate in my mind. “Symphonia” and “Compendium Tenebricosus” represent my best attempts yet at this music form. I attribute the frenetic acoustic guitar orchestrations found throughout this music to my interest in the violin virtuosity of Nicolo Paganini.
The influences that spawned “Symphonia” and “Compendium Tenebricosus” have also compelled my creation of other vehicles for dark melodic expression. My “Paranormal Jazz Project” is a twisted interpretation of jazz based on my fondness for Django Reinhardt’s music. And my “Thirteen Toccatas” showcases my solo classical-guitar compositions.
Enjoy.
